Официальный список праздников Марокко ставит три новых года рядом: 1 января, первое мухаррама по исламскому календарю и Йеннайер, амазигский новый год, 14 января, — он стал нерабочим днём в 2023 году.
Некоторые праздники Марокко внесены в списки нематериального наследия ЮНЕСКО. Они выросли из совсем разных миров: из сезонных сборов сахарских кочевников в Тан-Тане, из музыки суфийских братств гнауа и из праздников урожая маленького городка в Среднем Атласе.
