देश के अनेक बड़े उत्सव सांतो निन्यो का सम्मान करते हैं — बाल यीशु की वह प्रतिमा जो 1521 में सेबू लाई गई — और कैथोलिक भक्ति को सड़क-नृत्य, ढोल तथा विस्तृत वेश-भूषा से जोड़ते हैं। सेबू का सिनुलोग और कालिबो का अती-अतीहान, दोनों जनवरी के तीसरे रविवार को पड़ते हैं।
कुछ अन्य फ़सल अथवा नगर के मनोबल का उत्सव हैं: लुकबान का पाहियास किसानों के संरक्षक संत इसिदोर हलवाहे के पर्व पर घरों को उपज से सजाता है, और बाकोलोद का मासकारा 1980 में नगर को कठिन समय से उठाने के लिए रचा गया।
